“Actavis Operations”, 

Mr. Ivan Urumov, Manager of “Actavis Operations” presented a lecture from the Seminar with industry. The lecture was held on 12th of January, 2012, 10:30h, at the Faculty of Chemistry, Sofia University. The announcement of the lecture could be found here .

Mr. Urumov presented the current activities of “Actavis Operations” and outlined the future developments in the company in front of the Faculty staff and students.

Mrs. Margret Barzachka, Director oh Human Resources of “Actavis Operations”, presented the Training Programme of the company and outlined the opportunities for the Faculty students to participate in the program.

Seminar „Fundamental and applied research, innovations and commercialization of the scientific results”

Seminar „Fundamental and applied research, innovations and commercialization of the scientific results” was organized within the FP7 Project “BeyondEverest” of the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy, Sofia University. The Seminar took place at Hotel Radisson Blu on July 24th, 2014.

Lecturers of the Seminar were Mrs. Sasha Bezuhanova, founder of the civil platform for democracy, public discussions and debates on the national policies for modern development of Bulgaria - MoveBG, Mrs. Elitsa Panayotova, Executive Director of Sofia Tech Park, Professor Plamen Atanassov, University of New Mexico, USA, Professor Simeon Stoyanov, Unilever R&D and Wageningen University, NL and University College London, UK, Professor Nikolai Denkov, Head of the Department on Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy, Sofia University, etc.The lecturers shared their experience and views in innovations development as well as in  the transfer of scientific generated knowledge into real application solutions. The seminar aimed to find ways for encouraging the innovations and innovative thinking in Bulgarian research institutions and particularly in the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy as beneficent of the FP7 Project “BeyondEverest”. The agenda of the Seminar could be found here.
